(Naturally Michael, Magic and Kareem are named by Wilt for famous basketball players.) The dogs abilities are speaking, changing colors, breathing fire, shooting lasers, flying, laying eggs a la Coco, disappearing, and growing long teeth.
- The first episode to not show the episode title was "The Big Leblooski", which is a name parody of the movie "The Big Lebowski".
- In "The Big Leblooski", you can spot 3 characters from "The Big Lebowski" at the shoe rental as Mac passes it right before he sees Bowling Paul.
- In "Cookie Dough", Bloo rides around in a ship called the Bloositannia, which parodies the sunken ship Lusitania.
- In "Frankie My Dear", Bloo introduces himself to Frankie's date as Orlando Bloo - obvious parody of the actor Orlando Bloom.
- Mac made Bloo when he was 3, which makes Bloo 5 years old.
- Remember the employee from "Store Wars"? He reappears in "Mac Daddy" when Bloo tries to sell Cheese to him.
- Blake Superior, Richie's friend in "Hiccy Burp", is a name parody of Lake Superior.
- When Madame Foster unleashes the attack in "Duchess of Wails", Bloo yells "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!" which is a movie from 1978. Madame Foster replies with "Show them What's Up, Doc!" while launching carrots, a very obvious reference to Bugs Bunny.
